Academic Management Systems, Inc. (AMS) provides academic productivity software and support for colleges, universities and health professions schools. Our focus is on course assessment, admissions management, curriculum analysis, and faculty curriculum vitae (CV) management. Our flagship product - CoursEval™ - is used for web-based course evaluations and instructor assessment. CoursEval™ can also be used for conducting self and peer assessments, campus elections, senior exit surveys, department chair reviews, alumni surveys, and many other program assessment applications. AMS supports approximately 310 institutional customers, over 140 of which now use CoursEval™.
ClinicEval is a companion product that focuses on both self and instructor assessment of individual student performance during all their clinical experiences. The product can manage students from multiple programs and instructors from multiple sites. It is designed to provide a national focal point for all clinical assessment within a given profession.
SiteAssign is a companion product to either CoursEval or ClinicEval. It catalogs all available clinical experiences, then allows the students to prioritize their selections. With this done, the program uses a matching algorithm to provide the entire class with the best possible number of ‘first choices’. The clinical assignments are then exported to either CoursEval or ClinicEval so as to automate the student assignment process in these programs.
Other AMS products support graduate and professional school admissions as well as CV management. AdMIT is an admissions management tool that was developed to assist health professions admissions officers in the day-to-day management of their annual admissions cycle. This product has several versions which are used among health professions schools-- Medicine (MedAdMIT), Dental, (DentalAdMIT), Osteopathy (OsteoAdMIT), Physician Assistant (PaAdMIT), Veterinary (VetAdMIT), Physical Therapy (PTAdMIT), Public Health (PHAdMIT), Pharmacy (PharmAdMIT), Chiropracty (ChiroAdMIT) and Communication Speech Disorders (CSDAdMIT).
Our curriculum vitae product, eCV, creates annual and accreditation reports for administrators. Academic administrators, from Provosts to Deans and Department Chairs, can quickly retrieve a wide range of information about the Faculty in their units.
