CoursEval institutions may need assistance with the ‘term by term’ management of their course, instructor, rotation and other institutional survey and reporting requirements. In response, Academic Management Systems has developed a ‘Concierge’ plan that will provide services to minimize the institution day-to-day management of evaluations yet still conduct evaluations in accordance with institution protocols. Depending on institutional requirements, CoursEval will provide and maintain a hosting server, manage survey production, send e-mails, deliver messages to faculty, manage data imports for CoursEval (files downloaded from the campus server or provided by the rotation director) and production of sophisticated reports for faculty and administrators. ‘Concierge’ services are developed in consultation with each institution according to institutional needs (a mix of assumed services/responsibilities and assisted services/responsibilities.) Pricing is case-by-case as outlined below.
Academic Management Systems will first consult with the institution ‘assessment coordinator’ (the ‘responsible’ contact) to sort responsibilities of AMS and of the campus and describe the tasks to be assumed. Each institution will specify the survey content, software placement, login rules, access to import files, institutional messages, publicity coordination, faculty consulting, student and faculty services, coordination of assessments, accreditation expectations, rotations, and most importantly, the institutional contacts for data, hardware, rules, and procedures.
Cost of the 'Concierge' Service
This is invoiced at 30% of the institution’s annual CoursEval fee, exclusive of any hosting fee, plus $1.00 per student for a standard student survey, $2.00 for each student ‘rotation’ survey student, and $0.50 per participant for a non-course survey.
